This KnowledgeBase archive includes content and external links that were accurate and relevant as of September 30, 2019.

The aim of the internal review process is to gain input on the grant proposal from all the parties that will be impacted by it. The Intent to Submit Form is a 2-3 page abstract of the project proposal. Its elements include:

    •    Project summary
    •    Goals and objectives
    •    Funding source
    •    Budget
    •    Personnel impacted or added
    •    Comment sheet

The form is sent to all the parties that either are impacted by the grant proposal or have approval authority prior to its submission to the funder. Within a school district examples of such persons/groups would be:

    •    School Board
    •    District superintendent
    •    District financial officer
    •    District human resources director
    •    Affected school principals
    •    Affected district/school staff
    •    Partnering community organizations
