The Positive Learning Climates KnowledgeBase is an online resource to aid educators in nurturing school climates conducive to learning. It is organized around five elements aimed at developing a positive learning climate.
Task 1: Review Existing Policies/Procedures
Guideline: An appropriate first step is to review the existing school safety and discipline policies, procedures and handbooks. Upon completing this review, a decision point will be reached as to whether to revise or develop new policies and procedures.
