The Colorin Colorado website provides a glossary of education related terminology, including literacy related terms.

The National Center for Family Literacy document, What Works: An Introductory Teacher Guide for Early Language and Emergent Literacy Instruction, based on the National Early Literacy Panel Report, includes a glossary starting on page 71.

The National Institute for Literacy document, Early Beginnings: Early Literacy Knowledge and Instruction, includes an early literacy quick reference guide starting on page 14.
